The Dems who voted against the infrastructure bill because not aggressive enough on climate change also are a symptom of what is wrong: they may want reasonable things, BUT NOW. NOWNOWNOW. Like Veruca Salt at the chocolate factory. It’s impossible to fix the planet tomorrow and it is embarrassing to see them even try. That is one of the main reasons why Republicans win in the long run. Democrats will go extinct.

Where dafuq do they do that at, Bill, Huh?
You know better than that but in the end, looks like your inner white supremacist trumps your inner liberal, black pornstar, loving elitism.

I gotta say this is truly being Woke. This is about understanding the problems we have today and messaging them to the broadest audience possible. If the Democratic Party would stop allowing the fringe to tell people they are the problem and instead how they can be the solution, they would easily win the midterms.

Disingenuous. The progressives didn’t vote against the Senate infrastructure bill because it didn’t go far enough (though it didn’t) they voted against it because the other infrastructure bill the House passed was not only not getting a vote in the House (and it had been whittled down repeatedly) but it was clear that when this critical bill reached the Senate both Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchun… moderate Republicans disguised as Democrats, were either going to fuck with it or vote against it and so their vote on the Senate infrastructure bill that Sinema and Manchin want passed (and it has passed and been signed into law) because it’s chock full of greasy pork and sure to make friends of Congresspersons and Senators rich for years to come; was the only leverage they had to ensure the passing of the infrastructure bill that is important to them. And how interesting it is that it was 13 Republican Representatives that crossed the lines to ensure the pork laden bill Sinema and Manchin (supposedly Democrats) wanted passed got to Joe Biden’s desk. Which of course overran any value the six Progressive votes had and made certain that the other, far more important to progressives infrastructure bill is either going to die or get shit on in the Senate.
