ReplyAh, the normal “pro-Israeli” propaganda. Gaza was a prison even when it was “free”. It was quite a bit in the news but you had to pay attention.
ReplyAlso, Israel kills far more people than the Palestinians (Irgun terrorists even targeted the British (who shouldn’t have been there either)). And as Hitchens put it, the original sin was taking land from a majority who were not asked to have an opinion on the matter, it just happened. Poor farmers lost tons of land to a minority.
Suppose even a tiny bit of US land, like say half of Florida was given to Cuba, all hell would break lose.
And of course in the mix is religion too, and all sides are absolute nutters
Netanyahu is certainly one, he said the war in Iraq would be good for the Arabs and repeated the same thing about Iran. Also, he has stated that Americans are easily manipulated. And you are.

ReplyGreat guest. Pretty good interview. Though, if it had not been for Noa’s assertiveness she would never have gotten a goddam word in edgewise. Why do you constantly have to interrupt with your constant babble Bill Maher?
Why didn’t you mention in the media, on TV and in the papers, we hear plenty when a Palestinian is killed or injured, and we may hear about it multiple times – but somehow we never hear about the terrorist act that provoked Israel’s reaction.
We never hear about how the Palestinians refuse to make peace. They do not want peace, they want Israel gone and will only accept that. We know Israel is a democracy – even for Arabs who live there, but we never get a glimpse of the Palestinian government in action, or hear their charter read in the media.
And how is the hell does Palestine rate to be considered an ally of the American Left? That makes no sense at all unless it is media corruption of anti-semitism. The Palestinians are Liberal, Progressive, democratics. They spend their family lives traing their children to be suidcide bombers.
