    I always saw Joan as “big fish in an extremely small pond,” but she’s at the point in her career that she knows the call from Chicago or Indianapolis isn’t coming, and has accepted and embraced that.

    Love that one episode where Ron goes on Joan’s morning show to promote the festival and Joan is completely hung over and half in the bag. She passes out and proceeds to end up in all kinds of weird body positions while Ron takes phone calls and answers questions… including how to weave a basket if I remember correctly lol
