ReplyWhat a bunch of asses. First off, U2 wouldn’t have been this famous and beloved for 4 decades if they simply “sucked.” An “American version” of U2 is not better than an Irish one. Also, Bono explained WHY he hates their music–it’s because he doesn’t like listening to his own voice, which is how MOST people are. You hear one thing Bono says and get triggered because you feel personally attacked. What a joke.

ReplyBono’s (U2”s) old music was/is ACTUALLY why anyone listens to their music now. Yes, their songs are more less nice well done songs today, but just a bit too .. schmaltzy. However, their old music was intense and just furiously cool and honest. I’ve always wondered why artists belittle their best work in their youth, which they should know everyone ultimately prefers, and favour their new/er music, which, come on, is comparatively bland and not remotely as interesting. This is down to a phenomenon.
