Loved this, thank you Billy!
ReplyBilly Porter is such an Icon! Thank you for sharing your authentic self with us, Mama Lola!
ReplyI’m jealous. Porter has the face of a genius by
ReplyI was hoping the US would follow China banning such individuals from TV!!!
ReplyBilly Porter’s energy is wonderful!
ReplyWow, 8 rings and that suit with the platform shoulders and split sleeves! Maybe I’m too impressed by the exterior, but to me it says “Why hold back?”–and I love it!
ReplyIt really is the only way to be.
ReplyOh wow I’m subbed to his channel. Billy really falls into his performances without being too hammy, but he is still in the mix with it. He seems like a genuine person, and that seems pretty rare. I like the fact Billy cares about other people being themselves and hope he’s helping people in the LGBT do the same. Bigotry sucks in any form where it’s homophobia or ageism or sexism or racism. They’re all expressions of Hate and Ignorance, nothing more.
ReplyThis was a certified “integrity” classic
ReplyNo slam here, but; This One is Little-Richard’s Great-God-Child! ! To, be Bold enough to ‘come-out’ is one thing. Then to do so as a Minority, is another. To Put This ‘ON Stage’, well, yet another step-up! I ‘get-it’, how some are uncomfortable with this progression , but it’s needed If we are to Accept that our World deserves this level of Talent. And, racist, best you check whether your mom’s watched and liked, Danny Kaye, in the day.
ReplyHis advise sounds good on stage but not in the real world. People r shitty to others. I’ve been fired about 50x in 20 years for being trans (real talk no exaggeration).
Everyone loved me before my transition. Silly me, i thought they would get past “it”…. Nope.
I haven’t had any relationships with friends or family since. There was about 100 family members and many friends. I was always the person that was invited to events first.
The only thing i changed about myself was my clothing….
I’ve had 2 people call me this year, 2021….its now November.
I transitioned before all the ” woke” nonsense. Nowdays i can barely maintain my mortgage because of constant ignorance and fear.
I’m pleased that my wife supports me but her family bailed on her because of me.
Does anyone here knows what it feels like to not be allowed to celebrate holidays, birthday’s, anniversaries with the people you care about?…
I’m almost 50years old and I’ve been pushed out of life, family and friendships for being my “authentic” self…
My favorite is how many time i’ve been thrown under the bus by the so called LGBTQ “family”
It’s all bs.
ReplyBilly Potter is AMAZING!
