ReplyI’m glad Trevor points out that they can just watch the older version. I think that’s the point of the live actions to be honest revitalize the older ones but also draw a little bit of attention to the older ones as well. It’s like I’m the only Disney fan who actually understands this jeez man. Everybody else shoots them down all the way without first really understanding the point of it and they’re not all bad anyway. From what I’ve seen I haven’t even seen a bad live action…..yet

ReplyAlso one more thing and I don’t blame people for saying this but they talk about Disney not having any originality when it comes to the live actions. First of all I think that was the point they’re trying to revitalize it number one but number two if you’re going to use that argument you might as well count that all of Disney is not original because all those older versions of the live actions that they’re talking about those weren’t original. They all came from books for the most part. So what you’re saying is Disney is not original from the very beginning apart from maybe a few shows like Kim possible or That’s So raven or proud family but even then Kim possible is a spy show you already had James bond, proud family I bet you there were some comedies already that were about a black family at this point in time so all it did is really just do it in an animated form and you have now another comedy with a black family actually family matters existed right? So yeah not very original if you’re using that argument. I’m just saying not dunking on Disney at all I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy in the words and the criticisms

ReplySomething else I just thought about Princess and the frog is also from a book which means it’s not original in itself they just changed the race of the person in the book in the same way that they’re doing for little mermaid gee what y’all say now racist trolls because I think that same argument you gave for little mermaid. “Oh it’s not taking place in Denmark why have a black person in Denmark?” And you totally ignore Princess and the frog?
