ReplyGreedy-ass fool has mortgaged his properties to pay off loans on other properties, like someone taking a cash advance on their Discover card to pay the balance on his Amex, and taking a cash advance on Visa to pay Discover, etc. He has very little cash and very little equity. He can barely pay the bills he has now. Nearly $500m in cash (or roughly 1/5 of his “stated” net worth) is not just lying around in a bank account. He is going to have to cut deep into his investment portfolios to liquidate. No bond company will take as security the title to a building that has liens on it worth more than the property…
