How can Campion’s speech be seen as racist??? It’s more like: oh, they have a darker skin, so it must be racist: let’s get angry.
The joke was targeted at men in Hollywood.

She won and she’s still trying to compete with people. Serena and Venus have nothing to do with your award stop bringing black people into it, hey didn’t forget her apartheid comment!

Joke’s on you: What happens to that $500,000 football if Tom Brady never manages to throw a touchdown before his knees blow out and ends his season?

NOOOO we need Costas more than EVER. NONE of this crew should be allowed to leave during these multiple crises; you are too short-handed aqs it is.

So odd… And so very limited in the definition of their field, too. Certainly they compete with other women in their sport, but when it comes to endorsements, contracts, publicity, etc. they’re competing against *everyone* while also resisting any pressure to ‘change their images’. And do we really need to highlight how frequently women get the short end of the stick there?
