ReplyAs divided as our nation is right now its good to know that we still all agree that astronauts are still the OG definition of bada$$
ReplyWhat that lady said was so profound that it should be taught in school or something.
ReplyHard to say this with all the excellent interviews that Mr Colbert has done..but l think this one was exceptional!!..God’s speed for these incredible humans…
Replywhy did that make me cry ?
ReplyYou know, after seeing these people, the world is going to be all right.
ReplyThis is what brings us together!! Sending some of the best people we have to achieve something great!!
ReplyWow, finally inspiration. I wish these people and this mission complete success. Thank you!
ReplyMeeting an ‘astronaut’ is an honor. I met Mercury Astronaut Capt Malcolm Scott Carpenter, USN, at work in The MET Museum years ago. [H]e was impressed anyone would recognize him, and he saluted me. Awesome!
ReplyThis was unexpectedly emotional. I can only imagine how people felt in the 60s when it was about to happen for the first time. These astronauts are inspiring.
ReplyWhat a great group of people.
ReplyThe overview effect really only affects people who don’t have a firm grasp on how insignificant they really are. Astronauts aren’t necessarily smart. Degrees are passed out like candy.
ReplyThe way she explained we’re more alike than we are different really made me rethink about our place in the cosmos
