At direct conflict with the goals of the gun safety bill, gun makers are now trying a new promo, urging Americans to “man up” and “stand your ground” against any would-be shooter; arm EVERYONE. Nevermind that such a setting would simply allow the lunatic to blend in with an armed crowd and plan the moment when he’ll suddenly fire rounds 360 degrees. The theory is that one civilian will nail him before police have time to get there, but we’d still see countless innocent people killed in public. The profiteers are really turning this stupid country into an insane asylum.

then END the fillibuster no more I think or maybe just do it. Dems have one job to do and half the time they come up short. Dems lack the backbone necessary to get these things done.

I’m only saying this once, any “bipartisan” legislation that involves the republicans
altering the original draft for such a bill, to less than what it is, won’t honestly do anything…
The American Rescue Plan was originally a $7 Trillion plan to get America back on track,
but because republicans are obsessed with corporate rule, they lowered it to $3 trillion.
Any legislation that actually means to impact the people for the better, should be voted
in completely by the democrats alone with a 51 vote, (including the VP) no need for repubs.

No change is too small for gun reform, as long as lobbying still not deemed as bribery like everywhere else

What about a internet/social media red flag system to stop people that make threats from buying weapons?

While the intention is good it is still such a minute change. In Australia we just banned semi automatic weapons outright after The Port Arthur massacre. Do what needs to be done.
