The pencil snapping is not unjustified. Trump is hit with a nearly half billion dollar bond, says he can’t cover it at the same time he claims to be a multibillionaire. Gets that bond reduced to a quarter of a billion dollars with no explanation by the court as to why and with no legal president, and still pushes back against covering it. He then doubles his net worth right before his time runs out. Then he finds a someone to cover his bond, his billionaire loan shark buddy and that buddy brings the money necessary to cover the bond from his cayman islands accounts. But Trump is just “a man of the people” right?
