The 14th amendment applies to only the latter, which was the point of contention regarding Colorado’s lawsuit. The SCOTUS’ decision does not mean Trump is allowed to hold office, but he sure can feign a campaign for funds to squander on his ever-mounting legal fees and fines. Bro, Trump is using the SCOTUS’ decision to enrich himself at the expense of a viable option for Republicans, that is, if the 14th amendment will ultimately be upheld in the bizarre event he actually gets the majority of votes, which will not happen.

On one hand, STATES CAN order abortion bans, decide IVF embryos are people with the same rights, and take women’s health care out of women’s hands…..BUT STATES CANNOT institute gun safety laws or interpret the application of the Constitution unless it goes through the Federal legislative branch, not States.
