When PTL was big and undiscovered for its graft my sister, a devout baptist, started looking like Tammy Faye and I said to my mother “does she know that Tammy Faye supports gay people?” (my sister is a total homophobe). She looked up from what she was doing and said: “She’s going through the change. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon.” From my perch the only winner I see there is Mabelline my dears!!!

ReplyI’m old enough to remember Jim and Tammy Faye and the PTL Club. Jim was, and is, a money grubbing POS.
ReplyBut Tammy Faye always came across as a really compassionate and loving person. Underneath all that makeup was a truly wonderful lady who genuinely cared about other people, ALL people, and I’m deeply saddened by her suffering toward the end of her life. She deserved so much better.
This dress of hers doesn’t seem to be made for sitting down or slouching. It’s always getting caught on her armpits
