True that! When down there to my uncle’s funeral last year and came straight back! I didn’t want to end up like Claude Banks and Ray Gibson in that movie Life for real! I think they still use chain gangs to build roads down there or they did a few years ago. I definitely don’t want to find out!
Do yalls research. They didnt vote for slavery. The didnt remove the term as part as a criminal punishment. Slavery is still very much illegal, but they kept the wording in regards to a form of criminal punishment which is what is at debate here.
