Both are great 🙂 If i had to choose.. probably TV shows. When done right, a series can explore more and provide more, but it needs budget and skill. For example Band of Brothers was an amazing TV series but couldn’t have contained as much awesomeness in a movie. e.g. Band of brothers > Saving Private Ryan

The best thing is, we don’t have to choose. But I’ve given up investing.i. tv series, only to see them get canceled or moved to 18 different time slots, then get canceled

My tv to movie wish is a show you guys may not have watched. Its Charmed and its broadcaste in 1998. I still watch it daily and it’s the only TV series I own. My thing though is we have been teased since it ended in 2006 that there would be a movie. I have seen an actual trailer showing the characters have aged so I know it’s real. It drives me crazy that it hasn’t been released. Has anyone else been biting their nails for over 15 years wating for its released? P.S. The movie trailer was called Charmed: The Power of Four.

Great conversation! of course it’s the Daily show, but this was refreshing. I hv to pick tv, now, because of the streaming and series’.
You guys forgot abt Seinfeld, it was literally about nothing, ran for 9 yrs, never got boring and didn’t hv to end.

I think Tv show and tv series are better cause characters can be developed perfectly in different ways and some storylines and characters deserve to be in tv shows but on the other hand some tvshows don’t deserve to be this long and I can tell many tvshows that once they were epic , ruined themselves by being too long and having bad endings due to lack of creativity … But come on it’s a waste of characters if you don’t make a tvshow for them.

And everybody holding the mug with two hands! These movies are predictable and unimaginative! Nailed it!

Real World was before Survivor. First season of Real World was 1992. Survivor premiered in 2000
