Matt Damon says that while the band U2 and his onetime neighbor Bono are featured in his new documentary, “Kiss the Future,” the film is really about how the band elevated the voices of survivors of the siege of Sarajevo in the 1990s. “Kiss the Future” is in AMC theaters February 23rd and streaming on Paramount+ later this year.

Random thought: Matt could have played Nightwing to Ben’s Batman. 🤔

The last concert I saw was in Syracuse, NY..Joshua Tree..1987..U2. In April, ‘88 , I was a member of our USN. U2 and Bruce Springsteen got me through many, many nights deployed. Back then it was cassette players y’all!! Thank God for portable cassette players🤣😂!! U2!! Got me through, forever and always.

The war in Sarajevo was about a Christian government killing its Muslim citizens. Shameful. That’s right. Christians were the bad guys here.

Also check out Scream for me, Sarajevo. Bruce Dickinson’s ( and his band) journey to play a gig in an active war zone in 1994.

The crypto ads Damon did make more sense now, especially being friends with Clooney.

Clooney did all those Nespresso ads, and immediately used that money for charity, documentaries, films like The American (passion projects). So at least some crypto money is going to something good with that documentary.

Wish Dunkin’ would come to Taiwan. They’re in the Philippines but I can’t get there often enough.
