Well I was reading an article where bird flu could jump to humans soon. Could always happen for John Oliver and Seth being together.

I love when people like John Oliver and Ricky Gervais point out how pathetic these awards shows are. A bunch of the most privileged, famous, rich people in the world, who read lines on a piece of paper someone else wrote for a living, that for some reason get worshipped with people screaming their names and asking for photos anywhere they go, all gather together in a place spending thousands of dollars on their outfit to receive shiny awards and pat themselves in the back, and for some reason a bunch of poor people tune in to watch. Kind of depressing to be honest

I don’t have time to watch millionaires talk to each other. Unless it’s John Oliver with Seth Meyers. This always slaps.

Jon Stewart did quite a nice job hosting the Oscars, that one time. But probably Billy Crystal did the best job in my lifetime.

This entire interview was gold. Seth’s ability to banter is beyond impressive. And he doesn’t need to follow a set of questions to have a good interview.

The only part of the Oscars I watched was a clip under 2 minutes of Hugh Grant being interviewed. He said something about the Oscars being like “Vanity Fair”. The interviewer had no idea he was referring to Thackeray’s book, took it to mean a party hosted by the magazine. He didn’t correct her and the interview soon ended.

I really want Seth to host the Oscars, with the whole Late Night writing team.

the whole Muppet bit just reminds me of how Danny Treijo was working on the muppet movie when he got the word his mother died. and he finished out his shooting schedule but that he kinda had shut down emotionally for the rest of the shoot. He wasn’t mean or anything but he didn’t wanna talk about it so people thought he had some sort of problem. and on the last day of the shoot Kermit walked over to him and said “Danny I’m really sorry to hear about your mother” Danny this big huge dude just looked at Kermit… not the puppeteer… breaks down in tears and hugs Kermit and just weeps. Because its Kermit, and that “Im sorry” coming from Kermit in that moment probably seemed so genuine.

We know they are puppets, but we grew up with them and to a lot of us they are almost realer then people

You know you’re magical when you can make some forget you’re not real. That’s how amazing Sesame Street puppets are.
