It’s our last episode of The Late Late Show in 2021 and after we get a Madonna history lesson from Pete on Camera 4, we fulfill our sacred duty of reporting the news with a little twist: every story has a little holiday spirit. We’ll see you in 2022!

Where I grew up, we had Bruce the Spruce. It was a talking Christmas tree that you visited after meeting Santa.

The fact that Pete drops Jean Paul Gaultier as the designer name is my hero!

I love how Woody is making the rounds of all the late night shows. As a kid growing up in Nova Scotia I hated having to go see Santa, but would happily spend hours waiting in line for a chance to talk to Woody the talking Christmas tree. I’m super excited that he’s back and am planning on a making a trip to the mall just to see him. I’m also happy that now my nephews get to see how easily we were entertained in the 1980s lol

I’m with James on “The Holiday”. Another great one is “Love Actually”.

My brother-in-law also sees “Die Hard” as a Christmas film!

By the same logic of “it happens around Christmas but isn’t about Christmas” as an argument against Die Hard being a Christmas movie… I’d argue that Home Alone isn’t ABOUT Christmas either, just happens to take place at Christmas. So…..
