I am old enough to remember the first season of Late Night with David Letterman and was a devoted viewer until he left the network. It is such a pleasure to see him.

Dave used to recycle TV’s off the roof, but environmental laws would prevent that now, but maybe not produce?

Seth. Ignore the unkempt jackals. Keep the suit and tie.

Oh, and it was great to see Letterman again.

OH! And congrats on Late Night’s 40th.

Imagine interviewing the person who basically created your job? That would be humbling!

I know there was Johny Carson and similar late night talk shows, but David basically reinvented the wheel.

Its perfect that Dave credited Howard with the idea of bringing his own mother on his show! Seth you are so funny!

It is so good to see Letterman again. His personality is great and he is still interesting. He his just naturally engaging in telling his stories and talking.

As a young Hoosier boy, I’d watch David Letterman on local television, having things like watermelons dropped off the top of a tower, smashing onto a camera behind plexiglass. Great times. He’s surely missed.

-I’m a tough audience but when I watched Dave’s Late Nite I usually found myself smiling. Thanks Dave.
