ReplyFor f*k sake, have a little get together with your guests and establish a convention to stop using the phrase “our democracy”. We have never had a democracy. We vote for our representatives, that’s IT. Until there’s a foolproof way to choose reps that are pure constitutionalists, that will be the only democratic bone in the American body. Stop. Freaking. Saying. “Our democracy”, or go unapologetically join up with the democrats.
