How about people have the freedom to make whatever cartoon they want before they start going after children for drawing outside the lines.
Before you scream about “We’re not coming after your children”, remember that we thought that was true once upon a time.

If they make both Brutus and Popeye black, then they’re promoting black on black violence.
If they make Brutus black, then they’re showing black people being the bad guy “Yet again”.
If they make Popeye black and Brutus is white, there’s not enough representation.

I still say Popeye should have ended when the original creator, E. C. Segar, died. comics should not be continued after their creator dies, they lose all originality and intent.

Why do we, the majority, allow a miniscule amount of the population to determine what’s acceptable or not? Cry us a river cause we don’t care.
