The Floridaman meme was actually born from a good feature of Florida: transparency. There the press has access to police reports and, since they find some of them fascinating, they make them public to draw audience. That’s not possible in most other states and as a results people keep hearing about Floridamen but not about crazies from other states.
ReplyThey used to say the same thing about West Virginia, as it turned from one of the bluest states in the union, to almost the deepest red.
ReplyFlorida is already deep red, and still getting redder. It’s no longer anywhere remotely near a swing state.
DeSantis is a cynical , hateful opportunist, but he ain’t wrong when he says that his indefatigable pandering to the lowest common denominator has turned the state Deep red – slice the last tow elections anyway you like; the poison has successfully been administered to the body politic.
Yes it is
ReplyRep. Maxwell (smart:) Frost is Intelligent, articulate, compassionate, and motivated to help people. Ron Desantis is the exact opposite, Dumb, inarticulate, uncompassionate, and motivated to hurt people.
ReplyWow. He makes me feel hopeful for my birth state
ReplyI hope this guy has a bright and shining future in US politics and does great things. We need him desparately.
ReplyMaxwell Frost gives me hope for this state that I should never have moved to.
ReplyI live in Florida; trust me, bottom line, Florida is a red state. Yes, there are blue areas but the majority of the state is red. Dangerously red. Florida OVERWHELMINGLY re-elected DeSantis, knowing exactly how dangerous as he is.
ReplyStill skeptical about FL until they banish DeSantis
ReplyPrecise – Kevin set himself up for getting bitten on the ass
ReplyPresident material!
ReplyDemocrats could have kept McCarthy as Speaker. Democrats gave the extreme right the power it has. Democrats were also guilty of “party over country.” I am speaking as a Democrat and it disgusts me the stance taken. The Democrats in DC can try to justify it any way they want, but this crisis wouldn’t have happened without their willing consent.
Reply“We’re not a red state; we’re an under organized state” is a great take
ReplyOh dear a straight talking politician! How will the donors cope 😅 the people will love him though 👍💜
