such a bad interviewer he is .. good comedian .. but bad interviewer
ReplyEllie Kemper is from a wealthy family and that’s why she is where she is. Plantation princess ball.
ReplyMy wife used to work at a pet store that had a pet daycare and a vet office on site. One day while doing her rounds in the kennels she found a dog having a seizure. She picked it up and ran it over to the vet but was told to take the dog to the emergency vet down the road because they were closing soon. You watch Ellie’s vid and think it’s over the top and that nobody that worked with animals would be like that but it turns out there are people like that.
ReplyI love her; but the movie sucks.
ReplySo, before ya’ll start making some ignorant comments about the Kemper family, let an actually Missourian explain it to you. William Kemper Sr, the guy who made the family’s fortune was born in 1866, after the Civil War. His money was made in railroads and banking, not on a plantation, slave trading or any other stupid ignorant stuff I’ve read on other comment threads. As for Ellie, yes, she was affiliated with an organization that has a history of promoting segregation. But she was also 19 at the time and was more than likely not aware of the group’s history. She has since apologized for her affiliation.
ReplyThis movie sounds like it will get very bad press, if the burglars have the same sort of treatment as the original
ReplyThe right wing will complain about race swapping and the “woke police” may object to violence against women.
How was this even greenlighted (greenlit?) By the studio?
Stephen, what a rude and classy way to tell someone they smell.
ReplyOn IMDB, Home Sweet Home Alone has a rating of 2.9/10.
Reply0:35 Folks, knock off the undertone jittering. You’re performing for God’s sake.
ReplyTo say that Ellie is a delight is a huge understatement!
ReplyStop promoting this trash.
Reply3:34 “At the beginning of your career, I’d step on a baby’s _finger_ to get _any_ part I _could.”_
ReplyYeah. This fact about showbiz was the kind of thing that ultimately disinvested me of _my_ interest in it. You folks remember that ’80’s sitcom _Small Wonder?_
Jerry Supiran, who played Jamie Lawson, the son, has gone on from that role to experience homelessness and Tiffany Brissette, who played the robot V.I.C.I. left acting and is now, thankfully, working as a registered nurse.
When showbiz pays off for you, it pays off _hugely._ But for most people, you’ve got to have something else to help you pay the bills. Odds are, long term, it won’t be worth it.
Sweet
ReplyHaven’t heard from her since she got found out for going to a bigots’ ball…
