Only 10 years Late Night? It feels somehow longer, a bit like each corrections episode. 😅

Zoom school is the districts’ hedge against having to add extra days to the already tight calendar.

No important questions. Genocide no. Why doesn’t MSNBC support Assange? What about Biden’s brain or lack thereof? All softball. Typical Hayes.

Chris Hayes is a less funny version of Seth- they’re both democrat tools

The guy they got to replace Santos may be a Democrat but he seems like a jackass too, so not really a win for anyone

I remain astonished at how Men continue to fail to understand just how ANGRY Women are. We have had our fundamental rights stripped away and guess what – we are Pissed and we are voting.

Kind of a shame that those wonderful words “snow day” now cause distress for everybody. Something wrong here.

I’m South African. I’ve had the honour of working alongside journalists who told the truth when doing so could get you tortured and killed. And there is no doubt in my mind that if Chris Hayes and the other MSNBC presenters had been working in SA in the 80s they would have been towing the party line for the Apartheid government and repeating their lies, verbatim. I feel this way because the MSNBC presenters couldn’t even bring themselves to inform us about the firing of Mehdi Hasan, a journalist of colour, for asking tough questions about an ongoing genocide. They could not find the strength to do this even from their privileged lofts safely nestled behind an army of lawyers. When MSNBC (and the others) finally die it will be a good thing. Because it will open up space in the attention economy for people who are doing journalism instead of just manufacturing consent. Oh, sorry, I meant to say “manufacturing content”. Of course the problem I have is that I don’t know what I’m talking about. But I have that problem because the people who have a duty to inform me have not deigned to do so. And the comparison I’m making is particularly apt because both Mandela and Tutu went on the record to say that Israel is an Apartheid state: and they would know better than any of us. So the idea that MSNBC’s reporters would have spoken truth to Apartheid when it might have gotten them killed is laughable: they are already remaining silent, even though they are in no danger at all.

I love how Dems will freak out after winning election and after elections and Reps will win like one special election and will declare a red tsunami

And why wouldn’t Democrats, liberals and anyone fond of democracy be freaking out? I mean, it’s great that you guys get a good yuk out of this dystopian reality, but regular people aren’t hosting popular TV shows. We are not “sleepwalking into dictatorship.” We are, as Neil Postman put it, “amusing ourselves to death” as our Robber Baron overlords and our insane Christo-Fascist naziboys are busy turning us back into Plantation America. But hey, you got a few laughs, so what’s the problem?

I’m a little surprised that Amy Poehler isn’t the most frequent guest. What I’m saying is we need more Amy.

*Dems shouldn’t be celebrating too much. It was the middle of a snow storm that kept older people at home. He was the former congressman in that district. She was a relative unknown. It’s a Democrat district and Biden won it by a larger margin!*

Pilip is a registered democrat, a woman and an immigrant, I honestly didn’t see hateful misogynistic xenophobic republicans coming out to vote for a fraud to replace another fraud. Did you?
