AI could already scary replicate and predict a human’s personality if you had enough data points and multiple AIs on one person. I vote we go for AGI into IA or intelligence amplification, that is enhanced human minds. The hybrid being is the only answer here, to resist is to start a war that might be galactic in size, and shouldn’t we avoid that level of a war? In the end tho, be it Synths wipe out fleshlings, or Biologicals wipe out AI, the other will I guarantee you take the best of the other and merge with it… Shouldn’t we do that now then? Imagine a war that lasts 100s of thousands of years with neither security nor safety for anyone fam. If you choose the hive-mind ASI, we’re fucked, and you damned trillions of lives to yet be born.
It’s not the AI or computers that are the real issue – it’s us, the audience, and by extension the money & power trying to use AI fakery for their purposes. If we as audiences blindly consume & share AI generated and deepfake content, it’ll just keep growing to feed the demand… so we have to push back and be more discerning for content that supports content creators.
