“business hair” underlying in your industry is a threat for image. Hope you can keep it true and simple @trevor
ReplyThought provoking and a powerful conversation ~ thank you @Trevor Noah! #BamaGirlInCali
ReplyFirst of all I agree with his sentiments. I don’t think you should be judged for your work based on how you dress. And the fact that he brought this up shows this is a real societal issue. The quality of your work isn’t determined by how you dress at all you can dress the most casual you’ve ever dressed but if you can get your work done properly same way then that shouldn’t affect the outcome. And you know where it comes from I feel like it comes from all the judgment people generally give to when and when you wear certain clothes for example celebrities generally being judged for what they wear like in Disney and Bella Thorne’s case. We understand you’re trying to keep a reputation but is it worth restricting them so they don’t enjoy what they do?
Replynever cut that Afro Trevor!
ReplyThe story about the 12-year-old boy who recognized him was beautiful and so moving: “I love your show … I see you on tv and you’re interviewing President Obama and you have an Afro … and I have an Afro … Isn’t that great!”
ReplySecondly I love that slogan behind him. “2021 for your Emmy considered conversation” absolutely breathtaking
ReplyYou look so much better with the afro, please don’t go back to the short hair.
ReplyHey I had to endure the implicit bias of the VP of Tax of a international medical diagnostics company tell his staff that hoodies are “urban” or “thuggish” especially during the Travon Martin hype. Sickening and this company continues to keep him employed!
ReplyCool
ReplyDont cut your hair Samson 👍🏽
ReplyGreat monologue! 👍🏽👍🏽
ReplyI hope they use this video for future Sociology classes. Real talk!!
ReplyHow many people can support any idea with life experiences? Love the way how Trevor can always give an example of his point of view by referring to something that happened to him or someone else and made him reflect on or someone he met.
ReplyExcellent trevor, you’re one of the people that I take my inspiration from. And I’m really glad about that. Great wishes from India😉
ReplyIt’s the Daily show WITH Trevor. The daily show existed before him. So if he doesn’t go back won’t he just have a different outlet. I’m a fan just wondering
ReplyF ya I love your hair right now!

ReplyI have enormous respect for Trevor Noah.👩💞🌆
ReplyI love how people are embracing who they are and their cultures. I love your Afro I love my daughter’s Afro. Like Erika Badu says I am not my hair. Your hair and hoodie do not define who you are.
ReplyPlease stay true to yourself.
Love you Trevor.
“I am never going back…. I am only going forward…” Great line…thanks
