I’m a huge standup comedy fan. The most spectacular (insane) show I have ever seen was Gilbert. In San Francisco at Cobbs about 25 or 30 years ago. He decided he hated the audience and spent the next almost 2 hours walking every last insulted one of us. He wouldn’t stop until we were all pissed off and marching out the door. When i was the last one there, I left so he could claim absolute victory. I’m in the industry now and I still hold that up as absolute perfection.
