Biden is a swamp monster too; so is Hillary. I despise them both, but neither is insane. That alone should be the choice for most people. The fact that is isn’t is what is most alarming.

Exactly. People want to vote FOR someone, not against someone else. Also, Joe is going to lose Arab and young voters for his stance on Palestine. We shouldn’t be funding Israel’s genocide.

Biden isn’t “losing” first of all, but now all the sudden you trust polls? When it’s convenient to your narrative of course. My 76yr old Evangelical conservative mother just told me she would not vote for Trump again, & that’s a canary in a coal mine for Trump’s campaign to my ears.

Rich people can’t figure out why Biden is unpopular. It’s simple:

    1. Inflation (food is expensive)
    2. Gas prices
    3. Getting involved in new wars
    4. Migrant Crisis

Looks like Biden is suffering the same minor cold that Sen. Diane Feinstein and Mitch McConnell are suffering.

The truth is nobody wants either Biden or Trump. America has real problems that need real solutions and both of these candidates are a joke. The people on January 5th had the right idea they just did it for the wrong reasons.

Biden’s failure with voters mostly has to do with one issue- domestic economic policy. It’s become clear that the reason citizens are not enamored of Biden’s economic policies and “successes” has to do with his administration’s tactics and policies around inflation.

Many Americans do not buy the idea (a la Larry Summers) that inflation results from pay raises and consumer demand. The Biden administration did little to push back in that narrative. There’s a strong suspicion that it has to do with price gouging, which in turn is facilitated by corporate collusion and consolidation.

These are monopolistic behaviors that need to be addressed using all available powers of the public sector. If Biden or anyone else who aspires to progressive politics recognized this and acted accordingly, their public approval would soar.
