Reply6 and 12 are not enough to build the level of institutional knowledge that passes legislation and judgements to strengthen foundation of democracy. but yes, term limits are needed to prevent democracy being destroyed. in trump’s case the emolument clause was grossly overlooked. something needs to be done to enforce the checks and balances that are already in place.
