ReplyPlease Tina, come for a sleep-over and/or pub-crawl (or home-made jacket potato with all the trimmings) next time you are in London – it would be such fun, and I’m really old, so you can be my man-magnet. (I typed ‘Nan’-magnet at first, but that would be me.) I will provide any number of quaintly-named food dishes. Laughter is my best medicine, as they used to say in Readers’ Digest.

ReplyThe network and Tina are both right. I’ve never seen a show more irresponsible than this one which shows and encourages in ways (look it’s fun with no consequences!! when it’s not) day drinking. To me it feels like Seth really is a hopeless alcoholic (yet one who can still get up each morning to work, what they call functioning alcoholics) and it was like that especially during covid when people were trapped inside and the VERY LAST THING THEY NEEDED was to be encouraged to day drink and “Be like Seth and celebs!! I’m one of them too!!”
Will bet that segment has broken up at least one family or in reality, quite a few. So keep your sweet sweet alcoholic dreams and keep ignoring reality. It’s easier that way, I know. That’s why many drink in the first place. To escape their horrible reality.
