I walked to and from my home to public school as a 5 year old kindergartner in Los Angeles; then rode the trolley, the city bus to and from parochial school go the next 9 years. My mother taught me how to navigate as she had, as a child raised in Boston. It gave me confidence and independence. Children on the west coast were certainly as sophisticated as any child anywhere depending upon their upbringing. I am 76 years old and made my way, independently, through LA and later Chicago equally as well as any “chick”.
Aesthetically pleasing!🧡
ReplyHenry is still cool as a 78 year old!
ReplyI agree with him!😊
ReplyAt 8 years old I would ride the bus by myself, in and around Boston all the time. So did my friends.
