It may be true that Canadian money hasn’t featured any slave owners on it, but oue ten-dollar bill did have our first Prime Minister on it, John A. MacDonald, who was a virulent racist who supported the Confederacy during the American Civil War, and institued many of the most egregious policies Canada ever enacted against the Indigenous people here. Here endeth the pretentious blahblahblah.
