Growing up in Canada, where an apology can sometimes mean much more than “sorry,” all Sandra Oh wanted was to move to New York and become a theater actor, which she’ll be doing this summer in a new off-Broadway show. Stick around for more with Sandra Oh and catch her performance Sundays on HBO in the new series, “The Sympathizer.”

I saw her at Steppenwolf a few years ago. She’s really a very talented stage actress.

The fact that Paul Reubens is dead is stupid and I hate it.

Oh, Sanda, I love you. I’ve grown up watching her work over the last thirty years. She is so talented and so very fun; very kind. She deserves all the praise and accolades she gets. This is a tired phrase, but she truly in one of our nation’s treasures.❤

Build the wall!! Either Pres is going to be terrible. I’m a Canuck but no longer live there, so it doesn’t really matter to me one way or other.

Canadians get crap for saying sorry, Americans get crap for saying thank you too much 0_o

Seriously didn’t know that was a thing until I traveled a bit. Not sure why being nice and polite was something to mock 0_o

Oh yeah….forgot to say…..I remember now it being mostly Australians I’ve met in those travels saying that lol 😂

I am so happy to see an actor like Sandra Oh doing so well. 20 years ago my wife and I saw her in was Double Happiness about a Chinese-Canadian woman in a tug of war with her strict controlling father and passive mother. Her performance in that is fantastic making us hope that she would get noticed and given more work. She never disappoints, so smart and funny too.

I pretty much couldn’t stand her character on Gray’s Anatomy, and that’s all I know her from. But she’s so bubbly and seems awesome from this interview. I look forward to checking out her other roles.

Yes, we the people do care that this congressional session is feckless & wasting our tax dollars because of the Republicans not able to govern!

A Canadian in San Francisco kept hearing this from American locals. Look out or watch out while we say sorry or excuse me…oh sorry, excuse me.
