As a child, I grew up in Africa, and now live in North Dakota. So, I don’t get the whining from NYC. We in North Dakota go to school (it be preschool to graduate school ) in -40.
I heard that this would happen back in 2020 during a seminar for an educational tech company. They said concerts, live theater, and travel will come back, but snow days are going to be dead. Lol.
I’m a government employee, we lost no days a few years before covid. It made me surprisingly sad, especially since I normally went to work anyways.

ReplyWhere i grew up in Washington state you may have 3weeks of snow days. I remember in 1985 we lost power for a month. That’s why we had wood stoves.
