ReplyIn all fairness. Who writes checks anymore? Oh yeah boomers that hold up lines when they can get a debit card. Checks are only good for paying bills thru mail. I am genZ and I think checks should stay at home. They are a outdated format so no reason for them to write a check.

ReplyNot saying that I approve of the leak (don’t have enough details yet), but I find it facinating that the left (which in 1971 applaued Daniel Ellsberg’s leaking of the Pentagon Papers of 1971) now seems more inclined to support secrecy and censorship from the military industrial complex…
Reply“Patriots” like Green don’t love America as it is right now. You know, the actual America that exists. They are somehow convinced it is a woke, communist, dystopian shithole ruled by Antifa terrorists and trans people. The America they love is the one that exists in their collective imaginations: a theocratic, authoritarian ethnostate where white, straight, christian people have all the power and minorities dont exist or are at least very quiet. The fantasy America they believe existed in the 50’s, and they believe will be brought back as soon as they preferred fascist leader (either Trump or a copycat) grabs enough power. Their completely contradicting behaviour and words makes total sense when you understand that.
ReplyDon’t laugh at anxiety Bill, you clearly don’t take heart meds. yet. Every morning I take a vertigo pill, and use my anxiety puffer, while waiting for morning coffee which i probably don’t need as I’m really up already. If it rains and the rheumatism gets bad I have to add a stupid pill to the mix, or can’t get my pjs off and have to stay home. If you can afford to retire early, I recommend you do so.
