We love our Katie Porter. Orange County CA represent!
ReplyI respect Katie Porter, I think she’s an intelligent person who actually knows the issues that someone of her legislative position is supposed to have. But damn, in this episode (not talking about this particular video cut) she sounded patronizing, dismissive and almost arrogant. Piers Morgan (generally not a fan of the guy) actually sounded moderate and reasonable.
And if Piers Morgan comes out of the exchange looking more reasonable than you, Katie Porter needs to reflect on how she carried herself in this discussion. Because ultimately, understanding and acceptance can only come from having good faith, conversations that doesn’t try to demean or simplify another person’s view, especially within the framework of identity politics, which she engaged in several times throughout this show.
ReplySo glad Piers Morgan was on to defend women. Too bad Katie couldn’t defend us. As a San Franciscan, no way will I vote for this chick for Senate!
ReplyIf someone brought peace to the Middle East and cured cancer I would accept a certain level of Narcissism. Maher hasn’t done anything to deserve his level of narcissism. Stoned smirking clown.
ReplyBanning viagra might lead to less abortions if you think about it…
ReplyKatie Porter’s election was rigged. She lost on election night and California Dems came back 10 days later after collecting the needed votes and announced her the winner.
ReplyBottom line the white GOP male feels threatened so “he” passes laws to subjugate & control women & their sexuality because women have made great strides in gaining equality.
ReplyI wish you would let the videos go on till a natural conclusion ….. is this a CNN thing?
ReplyPlease actually ban Viagra!
ReplyAmy Porter is solid! I wish she was my representative.
ReplyNice to see Piers talking about something else other than publicly abusing Meghan.
ReplyIf women want bodily autonomy all they have to do is cross their legs.
ReplyWomen hold *_ALL_* of the cards in this fight.
Women, bodily autonomy is yours for the taking.
way to go bill, you wasted 1/2 this show on trans arguments
ReplyI disagree with the viagra comparison. viagra is used to bring an human to life, that abortion medicine is used to kill it!
ReplyMurder is murder
ReplyApparently Katie Porter things women’s rights are unimportant when it comes to protecting the trans population. A pretty typical liberal stance in the U.S. I guess there aren’t that many women who are raped and murdered.
