ReplyOH HELL YEAH MONKEY ON THE LAMB!
ReplyA buff handsome working man with a Southern accent (not as cartoonish as Stephen C makes it sound) lives a few blocks away from me outside of Seattle.
Reply_PLEASE don’t let it disappear._
I can’t see a missed John Cena joke in this segment anywhere.
ReplyThe only thing that still seems a bit rusty after the strike is there’s not quite as much reverb on the MEEEAAANWHIIIIIILEEE
ReplyThe Colbert Report’s Monkey on the Lam made me laugh until everything hurt, but I couldn’t stop!!! I’m glad it’s back!
ReplyThat Stevie Nicks doll looks more like Taylor Swift.
Replyas former military, the cammies jokes had me crying. thanks for that.
ReplyCammies isn’t even the best one. Cammies tops are blouses and tennis shoes are “go fasters.”
Replythe last joke….. i mean bruh 🤣🤣🤣
ReplyGood on ya Gen Z!, get dem billionaires
ReplyI’m so glad they did the skydiving joke. That had me in stitches! 🤣
Replysteve when you said another story about a monkey. i got momentarily confused, and thought you were talking about the MajorlyTickinohmyGod and then i remembered she isn’t a monkey. baboon in a blonde wig yes
ReplyI almost spit my burrito when Steven did the joke about the skydiving lady !!!😅😅😅
ReplyFrom the UK, it’s great to finally you and the team back. I sincerely hope you gained a favourable outcome for standing your ground.
ReplyIf “clammiest” are in a shortage how can they be sure?😊
ReplyMost Southern States are in the East and their accents have never, ever, ever been considered standard. The so-called “General American accent” is an abstraction of West and Midwest accents, it’s typically found in broadcasting and movies, and is even a model for foreign learners. It’s not news that the “southern drawl” has never enjoyed such prestige, so blaming its downfall on any generation is the most ignorant boomer shit I’ve ever heard.
Replycammies is exactly what Aussies would say… down at the beach in their cossies.
ReplySTOP i published my study on southern accent change (in Texas to be specific) in 2021 and now it’s a topic in mainstream news??? WOOHOO! (check it out- Dynamics of Phonological Variation in Texas English)
