Peter Jackson and Stephen marvel over footage of The Beatles working out the lyrics to “Something,” and predict that people may come away from the documentary with a new opinion of the relationship between Yoko Ono and John Lennon. “The Beatles: Get Back” is streaming now on Disney+. #Colbert #TheBeatles #PeterJackson
Such a great documentary!
ReplyVideo viewing admission cost: that same obnoxious Geico commercial yet again #YouTubeSucks
ReplyWatch it, I am not a fan of the Beetles and I enjoyed it very much!
ReplyNeeded more CGI balrogs.
ReplyIf Let it be is the skin, the get back episodes are the bare bones and organs of beatles documentaries.
ReplyI think the truth is that everything that has a beginning has an end. The band was heading for implosion anyway, and Yoko was a convenient scapegoat. I, for one, am glad the Beatles burned so bright for the short time they had together.
ReplyBlows my mind people still bring up Yoko as interfering after seeing this whole doc. She sits there quietly next to John not making a peep. In the whole 6+ hours of footage you only see men making unprompted contributions, most of all that annoying tosspot Michael Lindsay-Hogg.
ReplyI saw the first part of it. Its so amazing to see the Beatles engaging in their creative process and u see it all in the film.
Reply1:16 The truly fact was that both John and Paul was a bit tired of this decades of George’s lacking how to find words and titles for his songs… So John were ironically had fun of it, in a sad way, and Paul was waiting for the end of that embarrassing and tiring moment.
ReplyWasn’t Linda from Tucson?
