Being an EGOT winner is way bigger than being an American Idol winner. She also sang an Aretha Franklin song for her American Idol audition and then few years later was handpicked by Franklin herself to play the legendary singer in a biopic movie. Easily one of, if not the best and most successful American Idol loser ever. Prove that you don’t need to win a musical competition show to succeed, you just need to work hard to achieve something big for your career. Congratulations to JHud, you deserve it 👏

ReplyYo this is complete BS. When she got her Emmy she posted a pic on Twitter of herself wearing a giant gold “E.G.O.” ring. Then she signed on as a silent producer of a prestige Broadway show, and one year later won the Tony for it. She 100000% was intentionally going for EGOT. Congrats to her for achieving it, but her story about not realizing she had gotten it is an obvious lie. She was FULLY aware.
