*Person whips out pocket-sized constitution from inside his jacket.
    *Crowd applauses
    Americans are so cute.

It seems to me that this justice has demonstrated with his answers why he was chosen for the court.

Term limits. If it applies to presidents why not to SC justices?

    ON Amy Coney Barrett
The court IS now partisan. She lied during her confirmation hearings about impartiality. She took the very first opportunity to trample women’s Constitutional rights and send us back to 1950’s back-alley abortions. She is and always will be a threat women’s rights and to the Constitution. She has proven that. She is Trump’s girl. The court is Trump’s court. Pack the court, Biden. Nine isn’t a sacred number. It’s been done before. It’s the only way to bring any semblance of integrity back to it after the abomination foisted upon it by the Trump. The SCOTUS has lost any respect from those of us who hold their Constitutionally guaranteed rights sacred. I actually have a visceral sickened response to the sight of her now just as I do of Trump. FYI, I’m not someone who simply comments. I write, call, and email my reps. I take part in town halls, canvas and talk to as many young people as I can to get them involved. I will continue to do what I can to ensure all US citizens enjoy their Constitutional rights equally.

Justice Department should not be a representative to any party…

… only to truth and justice

in 1964, the Chief Justice endorsed the official lies about the military intel coup d’erat of November 22, 1963. Disrespect for democracy did not start with 45.

Couple thing: I get the feeling he loves the sound of his own voice. Also, we now live in a two party system where one of those parties no longer has any RESPECT for the constitution!!! Just look at the language of the Texas abortion ban. Look at all of the laws that republican states are passing to take the vote out of the hands of it citizenry!! And finally, why is Merrick garland not on the supreme court!! Those House and Senate Republican assholes had no right ignoring the constitution which REQUIRED a hearing on his nomination!!!!! I am truly afraid we have much darker days ahead than any we have ever seen before in this country!!!

The Supreme Court adjudicates over, in parts, a deeply flawed and outdated US Constitution.

Actually, it’s up to Breyer to retire so that he can be replaced.

“It’s up to young people to change things […] SCOTUS was an experiment that may need fixing […]” It’s not a *new* experiment though, is it? Why is it only the new generation that has to work at it? Make everyone, old and young, work towards a better system, because everyone’s suffering from it. If American citizens and politicians don’t work together *now* to change things, it might be too late for the next two generations.
