The night begins with a heated debate: is the date 22/2/22 or 2/22/22? And on the night after James attempted the egg stacking world record, he tabs producer Rob Engalla with breaking the M&M’s stacking record. Oh, and Vladimir Putin is really pushing everyone’s buttons right now.

YYYY-MM-DD for the win! Allows for numerical sorting resulting in chronological order, without field/column selectors and without any parsing/interpretation.

US : We write it like **we** say it..
rest of the world: But its not in order? Order is more universal then single grammar. It makes everyone understand each other. Dates often goes across borders you know?
    US: USA, USA, USA!
rest of the world: ok we wont get anywhere….

Same logic applies to how Germans (and no doubt other languages) say numbers the wrong way too. For example, 75 is said (when translated to English) as “five and seventy”. Or 123 is “one hundred three and twenty”. Crazy.

For the international people of the world, it IS important to know which format one is using. Day, Month, Year is the only logical way to write it.
Did you know that…”The M-D-Y (month, day, year) is almost exclusive to the United States. It is also the main way of writing dates in Belize and Micronesia”. Specially for agreements on Zoom meetings. One could do year, month, day to avoid any type of confusion, but it is too long, and etc. So I came up with a solution.
