I live in Central Ohio. I have always thought about living somewhere else but we are in the perfect spot here and in 20 years my house will be beach front 😂

Duluth is an interesting town. A lot more educated and more liberals than expected. Approved. 😊

In my backyard, looking out the window at Georgian Bay (Lake Huron) over a sheet of glistening snow; gee, Duluth looks almost as nice as Canada.

Hey, so heads up, there has been basically no snow in Minnesota this year, and it has been mostly above freezing. I can’t recall ever having such a winter in MN. It’s kind of existentially terrifying.

There are two different temps in the summer; by the lake and over the hill (which is the old shoreline). It can be a 10-15 degree difference in only 1-2 miles. It’s the birthplace of Bob Dylan, but they downplay that fact.

It’s been 50 degrees for 2 weeks in Boston. It was 45 degrees all Christmas break. The average temperature is supposed to be 20 degrees. It’s been like this for half a decade now. The Atlantic Ocean is warming so quickly that Boston is One of the fastest warming places in the world. I thought about retreating to Vermont, but half of Vermont just got wiped out by record flooding. And the rest had crops killed by a sudden frost

only been to Duluth once, but really liked it ! Lake Superior coastline is awesome, all the way from Sault Saint Marie to the Minnesota-Canada border. And the Canadian Lake Superior shoreline may be even nicer. But for any southerners reading this, full disclosure, I like winter and 4 seasons climate zones, you might not, lol.
