always so brilliant of taking them down
ReplyI think I can at least take comfort in the fact that I don’t need to take away the NRA’s guns. If they don’t do something about the gun problem their children are going to take them away.
ReplyThe Majority Party can expel the GOP as a Domestic Terrorist Organization (and brainwashed cult) – “unfit to hold public office” via an attempted coup, insurrection, sedition & treason. Then reasonable legislation on many issues can be passed. It really is that simple.
ReplyNailed it!
ReplyWhen the 2nd Amendment was written, bullets hadn’t been invented yet. Think about that.
ReplyYou missed out in the other 19 shootings during that time you were away
ReplyHe shot at the scbool?
ReplySomebody should have yelled out to trump Will smith’s keep my kids name out his mouth
ReplyLook at the history of shootings in the United States. Since Sandy Hill almost every campus now has a cop. That cop takes the salary of two teachers in some states three teachers. In every mass shooting on a campus the campus police runs away. They are found in the bathrooms, in the trash can areas, in the open fields, in their squad cars, or in their squad cars driving away claiming they’re waiting for backup. And every one of these cases they leave the scene, leaving teachers who do not carry weapons and children who do not carry weapons to fend for themselves while those officers run away. Out of 788 school shootings where all 788 schools had campus police, only three times that the officers stay and try to engage with the shooter. This is what cops do. They run away, they lie about it, and blame other people.
ReplyAt the NRA convention which was held just a few hours from uvalde, Trump actually mispronounced most of the children’s names. Trump could not take the time to find out how to correctly pronounce those dead children’s names. After he called their names and said something that was supposed to be funny, Trump started dancing and pretending he was shooting guns with his fingers allegedly saying things like pow pow.
ReplyWhy do other states care about DC?
ReplyNRA stands for
No reform assault-weapons
ReplyNo reform age-limits
No reform active-shooters
No reform ammunition-restrictions
No reform American-lives
The NRA and it’s goons will blame everything on everything except guns. Video games, mental health except. Right now it seems like they’re primarily going with mental health. Texas has for the last 20 years decrease the mental health budget by 98%. And this year that 2% is going to be dwindled down to 1%. Basically in Texas if you’re mentally ill and you don’t have family you’re out of luck. Most mentally ill will live on the street once they use up their family resources. The problem is that all this is a distraction. If they seriously had concerns about mental health they would fund mental health interventions.
ReplyEvery nation has mental health concerns, have poverty, have homeless people, etc yet we, the United States of America remain by far the most prevalent in school shootings and in School deaths. We just in 2022 had over 750 School deaths from guns. The next highest was Mexico where the cartels himself turned in the shooters. Mexico had eight. The third highest was Columbia or Brazil with four and then fourth was the other one Columbia or Brazil with two
ReplyCops lie all
Replythe
time.
The NRA funnels $$ to the GOP & writes the GOP gun talking points.
ReplyMass Shootings needs at least 4 people by definition as to more easily compare it to a video game.
ReplyBut there is still no consensus on that.
hey are still spouting, ‘a good guy with a gun’ plan to stop mass shootings…
so how about this –
NRA members receive a junior sheriff badge reading ‘good guy with a gun’ in the mail
and whenever a shooting incident happens within a certain radius of them,
their sheriff badge will light up, and they are immediately deputized as a ‘good guy with a gun’ which means they are required to show up and respond to the scene of the shooting that is in progress and deter the active shooter…
those who fail to show up at the scene forfeit their badge, their NRA membership, and their gun…
ReplyCan someone please get Karen a seat
ReplyYou miss Putin who supports them.
