ReplyFor Marvel, up until End game (with the exception of one or two movies) there were the good guys and the bad guys. The humanity of the good guys showed that even they weren’t perfect, and the bad guys all were flawed due to experiences many in the audience could relate to.
Somewhere along the way, Disney/Marvel decided that the bad guys no longer were in the movie, but they were in the audience. Nobody will pay money to go sit through 2 hours of beratement.
