1:09 – There was nothing anti-semitic about it. The comment said Jews are doing to white people the same they don’t want done to them, as well as them wanting minorities in their country that hate them. Stop being a lying c***, John.

1:25 – Elon is so cringe. He’s the kid that was never cool and now desperately wants to be accepted by the cool kids (the internet). Him looking at the audience for a reaction was pathetic. He was expecting an applause for such a cool remark…

2:59 – He never said anything about Jews. Stop lying.

    5:10 – True.

    5:18 – Gold.

13:30 – Elon is basically Jobs.

The problem with rich and smart people starts when they don’t have empathy or genuine feelings. Everything is processed through their brain, which isn’t known for being very empathic. It sounds like he has as much empathy for his employees as an SS camp guard has for its prisoners, but he’s edgy so people follow him.

Great piece for sure. I hate Elon tbh but I am glad he exists I guess. After Covid I like anything crazy and Elon is clearly a psycho. It is fun and the best entertainment around to watch the world overheat and die while having a psycho max it could have actually been a hitler doing this but we got an idiot psycho visionary and it is so similar but so different because look at what they each were striving for…

well covid was completely overblown and has bucked the economy..and for a show that uses free speech as much as it does. One would think you’d like the idea of people being allowed to say things.

Elon is successful because he values education, experience, creativity, science, and grit. He pays top dollar for it and he pushes that person to limits they don’t know they poses. If you don’t have talent, you don’t last long. With great risk comes great reward. You don’t win competitions you don’t enter and you don’t win anything for giving up. You can make fun of his behavior, his public perception, you can insert your opinion into everything he says all day long for comedy. But when the jokes get old and you go back and reread all he said and did, you will find he never gave up on humanity, hope for a better future, and freedom of expression, long after we all walked away from our own humanity. Oh, and he’s toying with starting his own media company and HBO isn’t doing so great. You better hope HBO doesn’t try to blackmail Elon like Twitter did, I don’t think you would survive the cuts after Elon delivers another sink to the lobby.

This the smartass that taunted Trump to run for president in 2016. “Do it, just do it, please.”

The key takeaway of the pandemic is that Trump used it to achieve mass death of Americans. He did the exact opposite of what the scientific consensus would have required to contain the outbreak, at every single step of the way. Afterwards – no investigation, no congressional hearings, no nothing, you just let him run for president again.

This is the last straw John Oliver. I started out a bleeding heart liberal and a die hard fan of yours. But I can now see how no matter on which extreme you stand, you just see your own color and you want to paint everything with your own color. You’ve quoted an idiot Max Chafkin to claim Musk cheated on SpaceX, when they’ve been a leader achieving more than what the best rocket scientists of the time could have imagined. No other company has even landed a rocket from orbit yet. Just goes to show that you will peddle whatever lies to make your point. I am deeply disappointed in myself for having fallen for either side.

Remember the “pedo guy” story? This one is the best proof that he really does only want humanity or humans to be rescued if he is the rescuer.
