That’s funny. I spent a lot of time praying during to the lead up to election day, and on election day, for God to protect us from the Republican party, and to prevent a Republican red wave, on the basis that Republicans are just evil and vile. So I feel like God came through. I also prayed for God to protect us from Donald Trump, and to never let him come into power again. Seems like the party might be done with him.
I’m agnostic, but doesn’t Jesus’ phrase “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s” imply that God doesn’t give a rat’s ass what goes on in American politics?
It takes an exceptional group of rubes to take anyone seriously who says “I’m waiting for God’s intervention on MY personal electoral behalf to save me from voters.” Think of the chain of being it would take for something like that to exist -because there is none. Utter fools populate the GOP.
