ReplySo according to Chelsea the epitome of empowerment is giving a hosting opportunity to a White woman who has already had numerous opportunities to host including choosing to pull the plug on her last show? Giving an opportunity to an actual underrepresented group would be more along the lines of selecting a Latino host considering they’re the largest minority group in the US, accounting for around 20% of the US population, yet they’re cast in only around 5% of film and TV roles. It’s rare to even see Latinos as guests on late night shows because they’re so invisible in the mainstream compared to White women who are killing it all over the media as Chelsea pointed out.
