Stephen can barely contain his excitement as he introduces Morfydd Clark for her first Late Show appearance, in support of her role in the upcoming series, ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,’ which premieres September 2nd on Prime Video. #Colbert #TheRingsofPower #MorfyddClarck
She screams “We couldn’t afford Jodie Comer”.
ReplyThe music and dialogue in that scene was soo amazing!
ReplyYea! 😍
ReplyWell, elf me. Perfect casting I would say!
ReplyShe is an icon ✨
ReplyEither the best move she’s made or the worst, im sure she put in 100% but its the story that counts, I fear another woke feast aka Female Dr Who/MsheU/SW/ST, After watching Colbert doing comicon interview he knew 1000% more about books than cast or writers and that’s not good start

ReplyStephen Colbert being a big fan of Tolkien and his work was lie the whole time. I am NOT surprised at all.
ReplyHey, no fair…
When I first said my ABC’s, all I got was a disappointed look from my parents!
I wanna talk to the manager. Jk 😜

Great clip, great dialogue that actually feels high fantasy, cool sound editing and music when they teased sauron. 👍
ReplyAlso Morrfyd is soo sweet.
How can you defend this dumpster fire of a show???They are litteraly taking a dump on tolkiens work….No respect for the author….and force feeding in ThE MeSsAgE…..
ReplyA little nervous there but seems like she is a nice person and can’t wait to see the new LOTR series.
ReplyTolkien actually loved Wales, the Welsh and was inspired massively by the Welsh language, history and culture.
ReplyI’m so impressed with the cast by the amount of courageous they are showing considering the abuse they get. Much love to them 💙
ReplyThe clip look good (not great for me…yet)! Morfydd Clark looking fit as Galadriel. The visual is good, the dialogue is good and the lines delivery work. But even if the clip is good it will be divisive because of politics outside the show. The strong liberals democrats voices will scream on how much it look fantastic. The strong conservatives voices will scream on how much it look awful and cringe and not like LoTR and so on. These 2 opposite sides will do gate keeping as the majority of us (me included) will be caught in the middle with different appreciation. To fully appreciate the show i will have to wait for at least the first episode. I cannot tell with certitude yet but i get the feeling that i will enjoy the show for what it is.
I can rise above politics on this one but i hate politics and how it affect the community of Tolkien itself.
ReplyHer name is spelled and sounds like a character name from the TV series. 🤨😑
ReplyToo short. Such a lovely person to hear from. Please have her back!
ReplyWasn’t one of the Elvish languages based on Welsh?
