ReplyMaybe try doing real Social Studies classes with Anthropological approach. Ethnographies of different ethnic groups including ones own if they know. I have had students who honestly didn’t know their own ancestry other than being born in the U.S. So maybe even have classes with a bit of genealogy. Have kids do presentations on their own ethnicity and 2 others that they research…
