Getting married in Critically Acclaimed MMORPG FFXIV is way better than this tbh
ReplyI think Mark Zuckerberg is already seeing the Metaverse like it’s the Oasis in the book (and movie) Ready Player One ..
ReplyAvatars get married in a ton of games. I do not get it. Every geek has known this for 20 years. So why are they getting any attention.
ReplyMetaverse? That is not even best looking one of the virtual worlds. That said the better looking ones are also a bit more than PG – maybe bit too much adult for your mom and granny to stumble around. Virtual wedding night could be managed though… lol – if you get it.
ReplyI think meta weddings have same problems as crypto
Replyshe’s not funny, sorry
ReplyStraw poll here: would you ever use the “metaverse”? Yes or no?
ReplyI’m a “no”.
good callback to the DJ and Miata joke…….
ReplyThe metaverse can take a hike the best way to get married is in VR chat because in there anything can happen and if you get a good programmer and good people who can create avatars you can do some amazing stuff like look up animations of vrchat of special events and you can see so many cool things that other thing not so well and not only that there’s been some problems with hackers with the multiverse so yeah VR chat trumps everything if you’re going to get a married go do that.
ReplySheesh! The Alien-chest-burst-bouquet effect was horrible… for real…
ReplyWho do ya gotta blow to get a good Alien-chest-burst-bouquet effect around here?
Until the avatars can rebel against and overthrow the military invasion of Pandora and halt the mining of unobtanium to protect the Tree of Souls, it’s not really worth getting married in the Metaverse is it?
ReplyThat looks like a wedding between Jeff Bezos and Ivanka Trump…
Replyso the Metaverse is finally figuring out how to marry people in a less graphically impressive way, with less features than EverQuest was doing back in 1996? And they were working with Dial up back then, come on Zuckerberg, EA could do a better job than this with the Sims game engine.
ReplyIndian mom: You invited 2000 people? What do we do with your cousins now Rajesh?
ReplyI have but one excuse for not attending all weddings in the metaverse. If you are holding your wedding in the metaverse I no longer know you.
